Job summary

Safilo Group in Padua is offering an internship in the Category Management area for 6 months. The role supports analysis of collections, forecasting, and collaboration with Brand Management and Data & Analytics teams to optimize assortment decisions.

The ideal candidate is graduating or has a degree in management engineering or economics, fluent in English, with strong analytical and numerical skills, and a precise, results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product performances at portfolio level to identify overlaps and opportunities.
• Research competitors in key markets to guide brand decisions on fashion trends and pricing.
• Work on collection size analytics to recommend styles for new seasons and phase-outs.
• Monitor efficiency KPIs monthly.
• Collaborate with Brand Management in defining core assortment per brand.
• Support forecasting model to guide collections offers.
• Perform primary analysis on collection productivity by markets and channels.
• Coordinate with CM counterparts across Safilo branches to implement merchandising project.
• Oversee product data quality and assist data cleaning.
