JMC Aviation Limited is recruiting experienced Aircraft TIG Welders to support an ongoing aerospace project in Italy. The role requires welding thin-gauge aerospace sheet metal and repairing aircraft components, with strict adherence to aerospace procedures and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have proven TIG welding experience on aerospace materials, certification as required, and the ability to work in an environment that demands safety, accuracy, and compliance with Italian

Competenze

  • Proven experience as an Aircraft TIG Welder in the aerospace industry.
  • TIG welding on thin-gauge aerospace sheet metal.
  • Experience welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium down to ~0.7 mm.
  • Experience repairing aircraft components (engine exhaust ducts, rear cuffs, air intakes).
  • Certification to PS-01-SBR, ISO 24394 or equivalent.

Mansioni

  • TIG welding thin aerospace sheet metal to required standards.
  • Weld steel, stainless steel and aluminium to thin gauges (~0.7 mm).
  • Repair aircraft components including engine exhaust ducts, rear cuffs and air intakes.
  • Work to manufacturer repair schemes and approved aerospace procedures.
  • Carry out welding to aerospace quality standards and follow technical documentation.
  • Maintain FOD awareness and workplace safety; comply with Italian safety requirements.

About the Role

JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Aircraft TIG Welders to support an ongoing aerospace project in Italy.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced aerospace welders with a strong background in TIG welding thin-gauge aerospace sheet metal, aircraft component repair and working to strict aerospace quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • TIG welding thin aerospace sheet metal.
  • Welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys down to approximately 0.7 mm.
  • Repairing aircraft components, including:
    • Engine exhaust ducts
    • Rear cuffs
    • Air intakes
  • Working in accordance with manufacturer repair schemes and approved aerospace procedures.
  • Carrying out welding work to the required aerospace quality standards.
  • Ensuring all work is completed in accordance with applicable technical documentation and procedures.
  • Maintaining a high standard of FOD awareness and workplace safety.
  • Working in accordance with Italian safety and security requirements.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience as an Aircraft TIG Welder within the aerospace industry.
  • TIG welding experience on thin-gauge aerospace sheet metal.
  • Experience welding steel, stainless steel and aluminium alloys down to approximately 0.7 mm.
  • Experience repairing aircraft components, including engine exhaust ducts, rear cuffs and air intakes.
  • Certification to PS-01-SBR, ISO 24394 or equivalent.
  • Ability to work to manufacturer repair schemes and approved aerospace procedures.
  • Valid aerospace training/certification covering:
    • FOD
    • HF
    • SMS
    • MAL/NAM
    • EWIS
    • FTS
    • MMOE
    • MANMAN
  • Must comply with Italian safety and security requirements.
  • Own transport required for movement around the base.
  • Right to work in the EU.
  • Previous experience working on military or commercial aircraft programmes.
  • Experience with aircraft structural and component repairs.
  • Experience working within an aircraft production or MRO environment.
  • Additional aerospace welding qualifications and approvals.
