JMC Aviation Limited is recruiting experienced Aircraft Painters to support aircraft painting, coating and sealing activities in Sigonella, Italy. This opportunity requires strong hands-on aircraft painting and surface finishing experience, with the ability to work on metal and composite aircraft components.

Candidates must hold PS-02-ARP and PS-07-ARP certifications, have experience with both production and maintenance/MRO painting, and possess the right to work in the EU.

About the Role

JMC Aviation is recruiting experienced Aircraft Painters to support aircraft painting, coating and sealing activities in Sigonella, Italy.

This opportunity requires candidates with strong hands-on aircraft painting and surface finishing experience, with the ability to work on both metal and composite aircraft components.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out surface preparation and finishing of metal and composite aircraft parts
• Apply conversion coatings, primers and exterior finish paints to aluminium aircraft components
• Carry out aircraft paint and coating applications in accordance with relevant specifications
• Measure and control paint/coating thickness
• Carry out preparation activities including masking and surface preparation
• Carry out sealant applications where required
• Complete paint and coating work on removed aircraft components
• Carry out localised paint repairs and finishing directly on the aircraft
• Work safely at height and use PLE/platform lifts where required
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with technical documentation, quality procedures and aerospace standards

Candidate Requirements

• Certified to both PS-02-ARP and PS-07-ARP for paint/coatings and sealants
• Previous hands-on aircraft painting and surface finishing experience
• Experience working with metal and composite aircraft components
• Experience applying conversion coatings, primers and exterior finish paints
• Experience working with aluminium aircraft structures/components
• Ability to measure and control paint thickness
• Trained and competent to work at height and/or use PLE/platform lifts
• Mandatory courses, kept current: FOD, HF, SMS, MAL/NAM, EWIS, FTS, MMOE and MANMAN.
• Right to work in the EU
• Previous military aircraft experience
• Experience within an aircraft production environment
• Experience carrying out both production and maintenance/MRO painting activities
