Luza Group in Italy is seeking an experienced Electrical & Avionics Installation Designer to join the Engineering – Electrical & Avionics Installation Department. The role focuses on design, integration, and documentation of electrical and avionics installations for civil helicopters certified under EASA CS-27 and CS-29.

You will design wiring routes with CATIA V5, perform 3D modelling, manage BOMs, and support certification activities, EWIS, and interface requirements, working closely with

Competenze

• Degree in Aerospace, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years of experience in aircraft/helicopter electrical installation design.
• Fluent written and spoken technical English.

Mansioni

• Design electrical installations and wiring routes using CATIA V5.
• Perform 3D modelling and routing of wiring, harnesses, bundles, supports and brackets.
• Define electrical installation solutions considering structural, accessibility and maintainability requirements.
• Manage mechanical, structural, electrical and avionics interfaces.
• Develop and manage electrical schematics using IGEXAO – SEE Electrical Expert.
• Prepare and maintain installation, harness, wiring and equipment drawings.
• Manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related product data.
• Support Electrical Load Analyses and Electrical Interface Requirements.
• Support production, assembly, integration and ground-testing activities.
• Prepare and maintain technical and certification documentation.
• Support EWIS, Zonal Analysis, compliance demonstrations and certification activities.
