Job summary

NTT DATA Europe & Latam seeks an AI Engineer to join its team in delivering multi‑agent, LLM‑driven solutions for digital banking. You will design, implement, and test agentic architectures, orchestration, and RAG pipelines, collaborating with product managers to translate requirements into capable agents.

You will work with Google ADK or LangGraph, integrate vector stores, and deploy production services with robust observability and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring reliability and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as Software Engineer / ML Engineer / AI Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python (core language features, packaging, testing, async, type hints).
• Experience building and consuming REST/gRPC APIs and integrating external tools/services.
• Deep practical knowledge of large language models and prompt engineering patterns (ReAct, tool usage).
• Experience deploying on cloud platforms and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Design and build complex agentic systems with multiple interacting agents.
• Implement robust orchestration logic (state machines/graphs, retries, fallbacks, human escalation).
• Implement RAG pipelines, tool calling, and sophisticated system prompts for reliability and cost control.
• Apply core ML concepts to evaluate agent performance, including data curation and bias checks.
• Lead development of agents using Google ADK and/or LangGraph for orchestration and observability.
• Integrate with libraries and infrastructure (LangChain, LlamaIndex, vector DBs) with minimal supervision.
• Define success metrics and run evaluation suites (automatic + human).
• Document designs and runbooks for complex systems.
• Deploy and operate AI services in production with CI/CD, logging, and tracing.
