Job summary

Generali is seeking an Advanced Analytics Project Leader to identify, design and manage AI solutions across business units. You will lead analysis, business case development, and end-to-end implementation of analytics initiatives, coordinating data scientists, automation engineers and IT architects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with various functions, driving testing, deployment and optimization, and maintaining buy-in from stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Data Scientist in a consulting firm or company
• 1–2 years managing AI/digital transformation projects
• Degree in mathematics, CS, engineering, economics or physics
• Experience with Python Data Science libraries (Pandas, Scikit-learn, Numpy, XGBoost, PyTorch, LightGBM, TensorFlow)
• Experience designing/evaluating ML models (clustering, classification, regression, forecasting)
• Excellent knowledge of Excel
• Good written/spoken English (B2)
• Strong teamwork, autonomy, proactivity and results orientation
• Strong communication across organizational levels

Responsibilities

• Drive project setup and business case development with target solution design
• Oversee end-to-end initiatives including prioritization and budget management
• Lead data scientists and ensure deployment with IT and automation teams
• Interact regularly with business units and management to align objectives
