Job summary

KWS Italia S.p.a. is seeking an Agroservice Specialist in Monselice, Italy, to support maize and sugar beet trials and broader crop portfolio development for the Italian market.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing to translate agronomic data into insights for product development and customer success. The role requires a degree in agriculture, agronomy experience, fluency in Italian and English, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agriculture or related field.
• Experience in agronomy, crop trials, or technical–commercial support.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and data interpretation ability.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the area.
• Customer-oriented, proactive and collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of Power BI or data visualization is a plus.

Job description

At KWS Italia S.p.a. , we combine innovation, scientific expertise, and close collaboration with farmers to deliver high-performing crop solutions. We are looking for an Agroservice Specialist to strengthen our team in Monselice , supporting the development and evaluation of our maize, sugar beet, and broader crop portfolio for the Italian market. The position is permanent .

In this role, you will work closely with Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams, helping to transform agronomic data into valuable insights that support product development and customer success.

Your Responsibilities

• Manage and evaluate field trials, with a primary focus on maize and sugar beet.
• Plan, organize, and monitor variety trials, ensuring high-quality data collection and timely execution of field activities.
• Analyze trial results and provide agronomic recommendations to support product positioning and portfolio decisions.
• Support the introduction of new products and contribute to the implementation of innovative agronomic strategies.
• Deliver technical expertise and training to sales teams, customers, and stakeholders.
• Organize field visits, demonstration events, and technical meetings with farmers and commercial teams.
• Support variety registration activities, particularly for sugar beet.
• Coordinate stewardship activities related to KWS High Value Concepts such as Conviso Smart and CR+.
• Prepare technical presentations and collaborate with colleagues across functions and countries.

Your Profile

• Degree in Agriculture or a related field.
• Initial experience in agronomy, variety trials, crop evaluation, or technical-commercial support.
• Fluency in Italian and English.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret agronomic and market data.
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the area.
• Customer-oriented, proactive, and collaborative approach.
• Knowledge of Power BI, statistical analysis, or data visualization tools is an advantage.
