Alliance of Bioversity International & CIAT in Rome, Italy, seeks a Team Leader for AgriTech4Egypt to manage the project portfolio and serve as the regional focal point for MENA. The role requires coordinating with senior leadership, partners, donors and internal units to ensure high-quality delivery and impact.

You will oversee workplans, budgets, and reports, while guiding a region-focused team and representing the Alliance at meetings to advance funding opportunities and strategic

Competenze

• Master’s degree or higher in International Development, International Relations, Economics, Business Administration or other relevant field.
• At least 5 years of work experience in project coordination and engaging with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience with international development and/or research organizations, private sector, or venture capital funds.
• Proven ability to build collaborative relationships across teams and with external stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and details.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Italian (verbal and written).
• Knowledge of a second language (French or Spanish) desirable.

Mansioni

• Lead the implementation of the AgriTech4Egypt project.
• Coordinate activities within A4IP’s portfolio, focusing on MENA alignment.
• Provide guidance to regional project coordinators and ensure quality deliverables.
• Represent the Alliance at regional and international meetings and engage with donors, partners, and stakeholders.
• Support pipeline development and fundraising efforts to diversify funding.
