European Tech Recruit is seeking an Agentic AI Expert for Model-Based Engineering to join its Pisa, Italy R&D team. You will work within a collaborative research group to advance Model-Based Design tools using Generative AI and Agentic AI technologies.

You will collaborate with engineers, researchers and PhDs on cutting-edge projects enabling next-generation engineering software platforms. Fluency in English and willingness to travel across Europe are expected.

Competenze

• MSc in Engineering, Computer Science or related; PhD preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of Java and Python.
• Experience with LangChain, LangGraph, Docling, PyTorch.
• Hands-on with AI coding agents like Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex.
• Experience with OpenAI API, MCP servers, and tool calling.
• Strong understanding of Agentic AI patterns and LLM-based workflows.
• Experience designing multi-agent AI architectures and integration with software products.
• Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering concepts (UML, Simulink).

• Support evolution of proprietary Model-Based Design tools through AI-assisted engineering.
• Develop and integrate Agentic AI capabilities into existing engineering and software products.
• Improve large-scale simulation workflows, code generation, diagram generation, and automated test generation.
• Design and implement efficient AI agent architectures, including RAG, orchestration, tool calling, and multi-agent systems.
• Integrate LLM and AI technologies into existing engineering software environments.
• Analyse and optimise complex LLM pipelines, including latency, scalability, and token efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with software engineers, researchers, and system engineering teams.
