Job summary

Leonardo SpA in Cascina Costa (VA) is seeking a Fatigue Analyst Engineer to ensure compliance with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance criteria for civil and military platforms. You will work in the IT Fatigue Office within the Helicopter division, supporting flight tests and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a solid background in aeronautical engineering, FDT analysis, and airworthiness regulations, with a focus on metallic and composite structures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Aerospace, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering
• Knowledge of Fatigue and Damage Tolerance (FDT) analysis
• Knowledge of aircraft structures, with experience in metallic and/or composite materials
• Knowledge of airworthiness regulations and fatigue design criteria
• Soft Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Fatigue and Damage Tolerance requirements as specified by design criteria and airworthiness regulations
• Support flight test activities and collaborate with the flight test team
• Work within the IT Fatigue Office focusing on fatigue activities of IT product lines, Civil and Military, in collaboration with the UK Fatigue Office
