Leonardo's Electrical Systems team in the Airframe Engineering Directorate seeks a dedicated electrical engineer to design, verify and support power generation, distribution and lighting systems for helicopter platforms. The role spans from concept through flight tests and in-service operations.

Working within a multidisciplinary environment, you will contribute to current programs and future all-electric rotorcraft development, with a hybrid working arrangement offered.

Competenze

• Degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or related field).
• Skilled in electrical network modelling and simulation tools (MATLAB, Simulink, Amesim).
• Knowledge of electrical systems (machines, inverters, converters, storage).
• Experience in project management and reporting to head of function.
• Good written and spoken English.
• Proactive approach with minimal supervision.

Mansioni

• Define system architecture, design and analyze electrical systems.
• Capture, derive, allocate and verify requirements.
• Prepare technical specs and project documentation.
• Review electrical designs and drawings.
• Present at technical design reviews.
• Prepare test documentation and conduct integration testing.
• Participate in aircraft trials and support Electric Lab tests.
• Support qualification/certification of equipment and systems.
• Coordinate with internal/external suppliers and assist bids.
