Job summary
Avio Aero seeks an experienced Design Engineer to join the Apulia Repair Development Centre in Bari, supporting advanced repair solutions for engine components using additive technologies. You will own the full CAD/CAM cycle, from geometry acquisition to post-deposition checks, and define tooling concepts for repair and procurement.
You will program robot toolpaths with CAM software for ABB and KUKA robots, support operators, and drive continuous development of CAD/CAM methods in a dynamic,
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency in Italian and English.
- Work Visa in accordance with local regulations.
- Willingness to learn robot-assisted manufacturing cells.
Responsibilities
- Own the entire CAD/CAM cycle from geometry acquisition to post deposition checks.
- Define tooling concepts to support component repair and procurement.
- Program ABB and KUKA robot toolpaths using CAM software.
- Support machine operators and collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to drive improvements.
- Develop CAD/CAM methodologies to advance repairs of engine components.
