TGR Haas F1 Team in Maranello, Italy is seeking a Wind Tunnel Aerodynamics Specialist to support day‑to‑day testing, data collection, and cross‑functional collaboration. You’ll work with aero development, CFD, and software groups to improve testing realism and predictive accuracy.

Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering (PhD and/or Formula 1 experience preferred). Strong analytical skills, proficiency with engineering tools, and willingness to travel

Competenze

• Master’s degree in aerospace/Mechanical engineering; aerodynamics focus preferred.
• PhD and/or at least 2 years of Formula 1 experience preferred.
• Strong analytical, collaboration, and communication skills.

Mansioni

• Conduct Wind Tunnel realism studies to improve testing representativeness and predictive accuracy.
• Define, maintain, and develop Wind Tunnel maps and performance metrics for meaningful development decisions.
• Define, execute and analyze Wind Tunnel and bench experiments, translating results into actionable insights for development and testing strategy.
• Drive advancement of aerodynamic measurement techniques including pressure and flow diagnostics.
• Perform correlation studies across Wind Tunnel, Track, CFD, and benches to improve realism and correlation metrics.
• Build and maintain models, analysis routines, and software tools per company standards.
• Collaborate with Aero Development, Aero Performance, Aero Engineering, CFD, and Software groups to align methodologies.
