Quest Global in the Turin area is seeking a Materials Application Engineer to join our engineering services team. You will contribute to R&D, testing, and material characterization for aero engines/gearboxes.
The role involves verifying and validating development processes of new materials, defining technical specs for special treatments, and conducting failure analyses while collaborating with design, quality, manufacturing, and suppliers.
Competenze
- Master's degree in Materials/Nanotechnology/Engineering or equivalent background.
- Experience with Additive Manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of various materials and testing/characterization.
- Laboratory operations experience.
- Coating/surface treatments knowledge advantageous.
- Proficient in English.
- Strong MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Mansioni
- Engage in R&D, test, analysis and characterization of materials.
- Verify & validate development processes for new materials.
- Define technical specifications for special treatments.
- Perform failure analysis/investigation on damaged/NC components.
- Collaborate with Design, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain; interface with suppliers.
