Quest Global in Italy is seeking a Mechanical CAD Design Engineer for the Aviation Domain, based in Turin, Florence, or Brindisi.

You will undergo an onboarding program to build customer product knowledge, develop CAD skills, and join engineering project activities with increasing autonomy and responsibility.

Required: Master’s or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering and 1-3 years of UG NX CAD experience; Teamcenter familiarity is a plus.

Competenze

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering.
• 1-3 years’ experience in CAD modelling & detailing with UG NX10 or higher.
• Experience with Teamcenter 11 or above.
• Experience creating 3D models and drawings.
• Experience in BOM creation, updates and modifications.
• Knowledge of manufacturing drawings and reading.
• Knowledge of GD&T (ASME Y14.5).
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication.
• EU Citizenship required.

Role Overview

The selected resource - going through an intense onboarding process aimed at developing appropriate Customer products’ knowledge, working methodologies and CAD skills, when needed - will be directly engaged in the engineering project activities, with increasing levels of autonomy and responsibility.

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Industrial Engineering

Required Skills And Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience in the field of CAD modelling & detailing using UG NX10 & above
• Work experience in Teamcenter- 11 and above
• Experience in creating 3D Models & Drawings
• Experience in Engineering Bill of material creation, update and modification
• knowledge on manufacturing drawings creation and drawing reading skills.
• Knowledge on the Geometric dimension & Tolerance
• Familiarity/Understanding of industry codes and standards such as ASME Y14.5
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills.
• Due to the nature of work, candidates should be EU Citizens
