A luxury automotive company based in Sant'Agata Bolognese is seeking a talented design professional to oversee and innovate in their creative projects. You will lead the design strategy for both interior and exterior projects, collaborate with various design teams, and develop state-of-the-art visualizations for future concepts. The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in product design and exhibits strong communication and analytical skills. Competenze

At least five years of experience in a similar position in product design.
Experience in interiors or exteriors design.
Fluent English; knowledge of Italian and German is a plus.

About the job

You will hierarchically report to the Design Strategy Director.

You will be responsible to manage the creative research of projects including organization of designer and suppliers activities, to produce exterior, interior and product designs options by looking at new visions and ideas creating new ideas and new trends that can inspire the design DNA and the design vision of the design director. Moreover, you will have to support and visualize the holistic design approach (made by Holystic design strategy) between the various areas not related only for the traditional car Design of Lamborghini in terms of labels, graphic and digital approach for the customers touch points (Brand Extension).

You will be responsible for the following activities for strategic design area, outside the traditional car Business:

Design concept and ideation;
Responsible to develop the design strategy and design DNA usable for future design of the vehicles;
Responsible to prepare and guarantee periodic and strategic presentations ensuring highest level of quality and state‑of‑the‑art visualisations for future projects for Automobili Lamborghini and related projects, in order to align the involved areas and the overall stakeholders;
Supporting the strategic approach of design versus a more holistic design strategy – design trends, future trends, megatrends;
Take care of Brand Extension/Aftersales Design projects;
Steer project activities taking into consideration budget limitation and timing;
Concept car realisation and preparation to test market reactions and to anticipate new trends;
Close relations with Design Team, Brand partners as Marketing and PR departments to fulfill the ideation and vision needs and the right maturity of ideas in order to make and keep Lamborghini as a reference inside VW Group in Strategic Design meetings;
Responsible to plan and prepare ideations and advance design proposals related to Design Strategy Director meetings/appointments with the VW Group;
Managing the design activities inside Design Strategy;
State‑of‑the‑art renderings, visualisations and animations in AI showcasing visions for possible future concept and products for Automobili Lamborghini;
Producing 2D visualisation alternatives and 3D models related to strategy products and activities;
Continuous development of new type of design concept and ideations;
Close cooperation with the Group and granting a deep interconnection at different levels when needed.

About you

University Degree in Design or Design School Degree;
At least five years of experience in a similar position in product design;
Experience in interiors or exteriors design;
Experience in Sketching, CAS, Autodesk Alias/Vred, Adobe Suite, Keyshot, Unreal Engine, Office Pack;
Fluent English, Italian and German will be considered a plus;
Effective communication;
Creativity;
Good analytical skills / problem solving;
Self confidence;
Teamwork and team spirit approach;
Public presentation skills.
