Job summary

Buccellati, the Italian jewellery maison, is hiring an Accounting Specialist (temporary) for our Milan HQ. You will support core accounting activities, ensure compliance with ITA GAAP and IFRS, and contribute to timely financial reporting and audits within a multinational finance team.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of accounting experience, a BA in Economics, SAP experience, strong Excel skills, and fluency in English. On-site role in Milan; fast-paced environment within Richemont group.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics or related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of local GAAP; IFRS is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
• Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day accounting activities: journal entries, accruals, general ledger postings.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing per ITA GAAP, IFRS and group policies.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Assist in statutory financial statements and group reporting packages.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP while aligning with IFRS.

For our Milan HQ (Via Brisa 5), we are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist (temporary) to join our Finance team within a dynamic multinational environment. The successful candidate will support core accounting activities, ensure accuracy and compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations, and contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting, analysis and accounting operations.

What do we expect from you?

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, and general ledger postings.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in accordance with ITA GAAP, IFRS and group policies.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and group reporting packages.
• Ensure compliance with local GAAP requirements while aligning with IFRS reporting standards.
• Support intercompany transactions and reconciliations across multiple international entities.
• Prepare and review VAT returns and assist with other indirect tax filings.
• Provide documentation and analysis to support internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure proper documentation for audit trail purposes.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate governance policies.

Base Salary: 27-32K
