MOrgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join its finance team in Italy. The role focuses on owning accounting processes, ensuring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee Italian statutory reporting, lead monthly close, manage VAT and corporate tax, and liaise with external auditors and service providers across R2R/O2C/P2P. Fluency in English and Italian is required with a degree and 4 years of experience.

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
• Good knowledge of Italian GAAP, VAT regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience in international and/or shared service environments.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.

The Role

• Review trial balances, account reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs
• Coordinate statutory reporting and tax compliance activities, including VAT and corporate tax requirements, working alongside external advisors where required
• Act as the key contact for outsourced finance service providers across Record‑to‑Report (R2R), Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), and Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) processes
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
• Contribute to process optimisation, automation initiatives, and system implementations
• Partner with local, regional, and international stakeholders to support business and finance objectives

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting roles
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes
