Morgan McKinley is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee accounting and financial reporting for the Italian entity. You will ensure accurate close processes, statutory compliance, and effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in a dynamic environment.

The role demands a degree in accounting/finance, at least 4 years of relevant experience, and strong knowledge of Italian GAAP and VAT.

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in accounting, finance, or financial reporting roles.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and reporting processes.
• Good knowledge of Italian GAAP, VAT regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
• Experience working within international and/or shared service environments.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Review trial balances, account reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs.
• Coordinate statutory reporting and tax compliance activities, including VAT and corporate tax requirements, working with external advisors as needed.
• Act as the key contact for outsourced finance providers across R2R, O2C, and P2P processes.
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies.
• Contribute to process optimisation, automation initiatives, and system implementations.
• Partner with local, regional, and international stakeholders to support business and finance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting activities
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Review trial balances, account reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs
• Coordinate statutory reporting and tax compliance activities, including VAT and corporate tax requirements, working alongside external advisors where required
• Act as the key contact for outsourced finance service providers across Record-to-Report (R2R), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes
• Support external audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and corporate policies
• Contribute to process optimisation, automation initiatives, and system implementations
• Partner with local, regional, and international stakeholders to support business and finance objectives

Candidate Profile
