TRENCH Group is seeking an Accountant to manage general accounting activities in Savona, Liguria. The successful candidate will oversee financial statements, ensure compliance, and support tax activities.

Your Tasks:

• Manage general accounting activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Perform monthly and yearly closings, including preparation of accruals, provisions and depreciation entries.
• Prepare trial balances and support statutory financial statements.
• Manage reconciliations (bank, customers, suppliers) and ensure data consistency.
• Support tax compliance activities (VAT, direct taxes, withholding taxes).
• Apply and manage IFRS accounting principles, including related adjustments and postings.
• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all accounting transactions.

Requirements:

• Solid experience in general accounting, with the ability to manage activities autonomously.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial closing processes.
• Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.
• Good working knowledge of English, enabling effective use in a professional environment.
• Accuracy, reliability and ability to meet deadlines, with a collaborative approach to teamwork
