viridiidiLAB AG, an international laboratory group, seeks a dedicated accounting professional for our Pisa-based Italy team. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, collaborate with the Vienna HQ, and help shape local finance processes in a fast-growing, multinational environment.

Responsibilities include managing the full accounting cycle, driving standardization, and ensuring compliance with Italian standards.

Competenze

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent (Laurea in Economia, Ragioneria e Amministrazione).
• Several years of accounting experience, ideally in an international environment.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles and tax regulations.
• Fluent English for daily communication with Vienna HQ.
• Structured, hands-on approach with strong analytical skills.

Mansioni

• Support the Italy Team Lead in day-to-day accounting operations.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, reconciliations and payments.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual closings per Italian standards.
• Drive standardization and digitalization of accounting processes.
• Collaborate with Vienna HQ and international subsidiary teams.
• Assist with audits and tax advisor interactions.
• Participate in group finance projects and harmonization initiatives.

While our laboratories drive scientific excellence, our finance teams ensure the business behind them runs efficiently and sustainably.

Tasks

• Support the Team Lead Accounting Italy in the day-to-day accounting operations and ensure smooth, reliable financial processes.
• Manage the full accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, bank reconciliations, and payment processing.
• Prepare and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings in accordance with Italian accounting standards.
• Drive the continuous improvement, standardization, and digitalization of accounting processes.
• Work confidently with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and contribute to its ongoing optimization.
• Transform accounting processes from reactive, ad hoc solutions into structured, scalable, and repeatable workflows.
• Collaborate closely with the Group Finance team at our headquarters in Vienna as well as colleagues across our international subsidiaries.
• Support tax audits and work closely with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Participate in group-wide finance projects and accounting process harmonization initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree or commercial qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a comparable field (e.g. Laurea in Economia, Ragioneria e Amministrazione).
• Several years of professional experience in accounting, ideally within an international company or group structure.
• Strong knowledge of Italian accounting principles and relevant tax regulations.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is an advantage.
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a confident command of the Microsoft Office Suite.
• Fluent English is essential for daily communication with our headquarters in Vienna.
• A structured, process-oriented, and hands-on approach to work.
• Strong analytical skills, initiative, and the confidence to improve existing processes.
• A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills.
