Job summary

Qualifications

• MBA in Finance preferred or equivalent
• 10–18 years in Business Loan domain with leadership exposure
• Proven ability to scale portfolios, lead large teams, and drive business growth

Responsibilities

• Grow the AUM for Business Loans and meet revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality targets.
• Lead Regional and State Heads with market penetration and geographic expansion plans.
• Collaborate with Product Head – Business Loans to deliver best-in-class funding solutions and align DST incentives.
• Develop channel mix strategies and build relationships with digital marketplace partners and alliances.
• Design a seamless customer journey to enhance satisfaction and position the bank as the preferred banking partner.
• Oversee distribution channel performance through RM training, channel integration, and improved turnaround times.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Partner with Head of Collections to reduce net credit loss and delinquency rates.

About the Role

TheZonal Head – Business Loan(DSA)will be responsible for scaling the Business Loan portfolio within the Retail Banking division. This leadership role involves developing strategies to expand products, channels, customer segments, and geographic reach. The incumbent will drive business growth by delivering cost-efficient and technology-enabled banking solutions, while fostering a culture of high performance, compliance, and customer centricity. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Operations, IT, Credit, and BIU to ensure seamless execution and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities

• Grow the Assets Under Management (AUM) for Business Loans and meet targets for revenue, cost, profitability, and portfolio quality.
• Lead and guide Regional and State Heads with strategic plans for market penetration and geographic expansion.
• Collaborate with the Product Head – Business Loans to deliver best-in-class funding solutions and ensure key DSTs are effectively incentivized.
• Develop channel mix strategies and build strong relationships with digital marketplace partners and strategic alliances.
• Design and implement a seamless customer journey to enhance satisfaction and position IDFC FIRST Bank as the preferred banking partner.
• Oversee distribution channel performance through RM training, channel integration, improved turnaround times, and targeted interventions in low-productivity areas.
• Ensure full compliance with internal policies and regulatory frameworks.
• Partner with the Head of Collections to reduce net credit loss and delinquency rates.

Secondary Responsibilities

• Recommend process improvements to enhance service efficiency and quality.

What We Are Looking For

Education

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Postgraduate degree (MBA in Finance preferred).

Experience

• Minimum 10-18 years of experience in the Business Loan domain.
