Job summary

Shadowfax Technologies is seeking a Zonal Control Tower Executive to manage end-to-end operations across the South Zone of India, including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

The role requires overseeing 15+ dark stores, hubs, or distribution centers, real-time monitoring, and cross-functional coordination with planning, support and logistics teams. Fluency in a South Indian language and English/Hindi for reporting is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, quick commerce, e-commerce, supply chain, or control tower operations.
• Must have experience managing a minimum of 15 dark stores, hubs, or distribution centers simultaneously.
• Fluency in at least one South Indian language (Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam).
• Proficiency in English and/or Hindi for internal coordination and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Multi-location management across a minimum of 15 dark stores, hubs, or distribution centers.
• Oversee zonal control tower operations across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
• Real-time monitoring of orders, shipments and vehicle movements.
• Coordinate with hub managers, fleet teams and ground operations for smooth functioning.
• Monitor on-time dispatch, delivery performance and hub productivity (SLA & KPI).
• Identify and resolve operational challenges including delays and backlogs.
• Communicate with local teams and delivery partners in local languages as required.
• Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution with stakeholders.
• Prepare daily MIS reports on hub performance, order volumes, delivery metrics and exceptions.
• Collaborate with planning, customer support, warehouse, transport, and regional operations.
• Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity and service levels.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Zonal Control Tower Executive to manage end-to-end operations across the South Zone. The candidate must have prior experience managing and monitoring a minimum of 15 dark stores, hubs, or distribution centers simultaneously.

The role involves real-time operational monitoring, shipment and fleet tracking, hub coordination, performance management, issue resolution, and ensuring smooth operations across multiple locations.

Fluency in at least one South Indian language is mandatory to communicate effectively with local teams, hub managers, and delivery partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Multi-Location Management: Monitor and coordinate daily operations across a minimum of 15 dark stores, hubs, or distribution centers.
• Zonal Control Tower Operations: Oversee operational activities across Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
• Real-Time Monitoring: Track orders, shipments, vehicle movements, pickups, deliveries, and operational performance across all assigned locations.
• Dark Store / Hub Coordination: Coordinate with hub managers, store managers, fleet teams, and ground operations teams to ensure smooth functioning.
• SLA & KPI Management: Monitor on-time dispatch, delivery performance, order backlogs, hub productivity, and turnaround time.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve operational challenges, including delayed dispatches, delivery failures, manpower shortages, vehicle breakdowns, and order backlogs.
• Regional Language Communication: Communicate with local teams and delivery partners in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam as required.
• Escalation Management: Handle critical operational escalations and ensure timely resolution with relevant stakeholders.
• MIS & Reporting: Prepare daily reports on hub performance, order volumes, delivery metrics, pending issues, and operational exceptions.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with planning, customer support, warehouse, transport, and regional operations teams.
• Process Improvement: Identify recurring issues and implement corrective actions to improve productivity, efficiency, and service levels.

Mandatory Requirements

• Graduate in any discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in logistics, quick commerce, e-commerce, supply chain, or control tower operations.
• Must have experience managing a minimum of 15 dark stores, hubs, or distribution centers simultaneously.
• Fluency in at least one South Indian language: Kannada, Tamil, Telugu, or Malayalam.
• Working proficiency in English and/or Hindi for internal coordination and reporting.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, operational dashboards, and tracking systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, escalation management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple locations and work in rotational shifts as per business requirements.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing a multi-location operation of at least 15 dark stores or hubs, with the ability to monitor performance centrally, coordinate with ground teams, resolve operational issues, and maintain service levels across the South Zone.
