Job summary

CircuitDigest is seeking a creative Video Editor in Coimbatore to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for YouTube, tutorials, and social content.

You'll collaborate with engineers and content writers to craft both long-form and short-form videos, add motion graphics, enhance audio, design compelling thumbnails, and ensure timely delivery. Freshers with strong portfolios are welcome; 1–3 years' experience preferred.

• Experience editing YouTube videos and creating thumbnails.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes).
• Create short-form content for social platforms.
• Add motion graphics, transitions, and VO/audio mix.
• Color grade and audio clean-up to professional standards.
• Design lower thirds, titles, and end screens.
• Collaborate with engineers and content writers.
• Organize project files and meet deadlines.

Role Overview

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to transform raw footage into engaging, professional-quality videos. You'll work closely with our engineering and content teams to produce YouTube videos, product showcases, tutorials, short-form content, and social media reels.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
• Edit short-form videos for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube Shorts
• Add motion graphics, text animations, transitions, and visual effects
• Enhance videos with B-roll, screen recordings, stock footage, and graphics
• Improve audio quality and synchronize music and sound effects
• Design engaging lower thirds, titles, and end screens
• Create visually appealing thumbnails (preferred)
• Color correct and color grade footage
• Collaborate with presenters, engineers, and content writers
• Organize and maintain project files efficiently
• Deliver videos within deadlines while maintaining high quality

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve
• Good understanding of Adobe After Effects (or equivalent motion graphics software)
• Basic knowledge of Photoshop or Canva
• Strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and audience retention
• Experience editing YouTube videos
• Knowledge of audio cleanup and color correction
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Experience editing technology or electronics-related videos
• Familiarity with cameras, lighting, and microphones
• Basic understanding of embedded systems, Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, or IoT
• Experience creating YouTube thumbnails
• Knowledge of motion graphics and 2D animation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication, Multimedia, Animation, Film Making, Graphic Design, or a related field
• Freshers with an exceptional portfolio are encouraged to apply
• 1–3 years of professional video editing experience preferred
