Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of video editing techniques. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing content for various YouTube channels within the domains of tech, gadgets, finance, health, and automobiles. Proficiency in English and Hindi is essential, while knowledge of other local languages is advantageous. The successful candidate will work closely with the content team to produce high-quality, engaging, and visually appealing video content.

The selected video editor will get the opportunity to edit videos that are watched by millions on YouTube.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished product that aligns with the brand's style and vision
• Ensure all edited videos maintain high technical standards, including proper lighting, sound, and color grading
• Collaborate closely with the content team to understand the creative direction and requirements for each video project
• Incorporate graphics, animations, and special effects to enhance the visual appeal of videos
• Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery without compromising on quality
• Maintain an organized library of raw footage, graphics, and other digital assets for efficient future use

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree is preferred, but so long as you are talented at video editing and willing to grow in the field, we do not care what you have studied
• 0-4 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in a digital media environment
• Expertise in using industry-standard video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
• Strong creative and critical thinking skills with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics
• Good command of both English and Hindi, with the ability to comprehend and work with content in both languages
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
