Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Certifications in YouTube Marketing, Digital Marketing, SEO, or Social Media Strategy (Google Digital Garage, HubSpot, Coursera, or Udemy).
• Professional courses in Google Ads, YouTube SEO, and Analytics with 3+ years of hands-on experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Channel Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the YouTube channel, ensuring optimal performance and engagement.
• Content Strategy: Devise and implement effective content strategies to enhance video optimization, subscriber growth, and overall viewership.
• Performance Analysis: Research trending content across platforms to inform and strategize future content requirements.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the internal content team to maintain a steady pipeline of engaging content.
• Data Analysis: Develop data-driven recommendations by organizing and analyzing performance metrics to create actionable plans and KPIs.
• Channel Auditing: Conduct audits of existing channels to identify short- and long-term improvements for audience engagement and growth.
• Reporting: Create regular reports assessing the impact of optimization efforts against established benchmarks.
• SEO/SMM Optimization: Optimize channel and video content including titles, tags, descriptions, playlists, thumbnails, and homepage elements.
• Engagement Strategies: Develop innovative strategies to foster continuous engagement with subscribers in videos and community interactions.
• Revenue Generation Knowledge: Understanding various monetization strategies on YouTube, including ad revenue, sponsorships, and merchandise sales, is important for maximizing profitability.
• Community Engagement: Skills in managing community interactions effectively to build a loyal subscriber base are crucial for long-term success.

Skills & Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in Google Ads, YouTube SEO, and Analytics.
• Proven track record of scaling YouTube channels, preferably in finance, crypto, or technology sectors.
• Experience with A/B testing, audience retention strategies, and increasing watch time.
• Strong understanding of YouTube SEO, including keyword research, titles, tags, descriptions, and thumbnails.
• Proficiency in YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics, and growth tracking tools (TubeBuddy, VidIQ, Social Blade, etc.).
• Understanding of YouTube monetization policies, ad revenue, and affiliate marketing strategies.
• Experience in managing and growing online communities through YouTube comments, live chats, and Discord/Telegram groups.
• Excellent communication skills for working with hosts, guests, and team members.
• Excellent organizational skills, with experience in managing timelines and workflows.
• Ability to research topics and audiences, translating findings into creative video content.
• Ability to plan, manage, and execute video content calendars, ensuring timely delivery.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and external partners, incorporating feedback from multiple stakeholders.

Candidate Profile

• 3+ years of experience in YouTube channel growth, content strategy, or digital marketing.
• Previous work with a crypto news/media company, influencer, or financial YouTube channel is a plus.
• A portfolio of successful YouTube campaigns or a channel they have scaled significantly.
• Creative thinking and adaptability to crypto market trends.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with editors, designers, and analysts.
