We’re looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst to help drive marketing choices that support revenue growth. In this role, you’ll join the Development Marketing Team, a cross‑channel group that drives customer and business development through email, paid advertising, web marketing, brand, social, SEO, ASO, and more. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities will range from advising profiles on improved visibility for high‑value clients to testing and evaluating the effectiveness of new campaigns. You’ll work with cross‑functional partners, across various departments, to deliver data‑driven insights and help scale key marketing capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with partners to understand center requirements and influence your experience to foster versatile arrangements that anticipate future needs and usability
• Become an authority on Yelp’s marketing metrics and data sources
• Build and influence data models (Analytics, SQL, and so on) to support data and reporting functions
• Delineate measurable, data‑driven insights to drive business performance
• Create and maintain dashboards for advertising KPIs and set objectives for different campaigns
• Identify valuable opportunities to improve or add to existing data perspectives, driving better insights for action
• Execute sound business judgment and impact the direction of Yelp’s marketing by working with and delivering results to cross‑functional teams

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of strong business experience managing data problems and drawing insights using quantitative methods
• Experience in a consulting firm, venture bank, investment bank, or analytical role at a B2C or CSM technology organization
• Proficient data skills, including SQL, advanced analytics, and building dashboards in BI tools
• Business acumen, with a passion for marketing, client acquisition, and client growth
• Understanding of data significance and experience in A/B testing and experimentation for web or mobile
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to move between granular data and high‑level insights to influence decisions
• Proactive collaboration and communication within the team and across cross‑functional groups
