Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Data Management, Business or related field.
• 1-3 years of data management, sourcing or procurement experience in textile/manufacturing.
• Familiarity with yarn sourcing or textile industry is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets; ERP/procurement software experience (e.g., SAP).
• Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of yarn suppliers, pricing, quality, lead times, and quantities.
• Input and update data related to yarn sourcing in the ERP or procurement system.
• Regularly audit and ensure the accuracy of procurement and inventory data.
• Collaborate with the sourcing team to track orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.
• Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and ensure all data is entered correctly.
• Analyze and track cost, delivery times, and quality of yarn from suppliers.
• Track and report yarn stock levels with warehouse and inventory teams.
• Update records on yarn consumption and replenishment needs.
• Assist in stock reconciliations and cycle counts as needed.
• Generate reports on supplier performance, cost trends, and stock levels.
• Assist procurement and finance with cost analysis and budget tracking.
• Provide data-driven insights for sourcing decisions.
• Communicate with suppliers to gather data and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with procurement and sourcing to ensure timely yarn delivery.

Job Summary

The Executive for Yarn Sourcing is responsible for managing and maintaining all data related to the sourcing, procurement, and inventory of yarn. This role involves tracking supplier data, maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting in cost management, and providing detailed reports to the procurement and supply chain teams. The candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that all data is up-to-date and supports the efficient sourcing of yarn for production.

Key Responsibilities

Data Management

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of yarn suppliers, pricing, quality, lead times, and quantities.

Input and update data related to yarn sourcing in the ERP or procurement system.

Regularly audit and ensure the accuracy of procurement and inventory data.

Sourcing and Procurement Support

Collaborate with the sourcing team to track orders, delivery schedules, and supplier performance.

Assist in the preparation of purchase orders and ensure all relevant data is entered correctly.

Analyze and track the cost, delivery times, and quality of yarn received from different suppliers.

Inventory Control

Track and report on yarn stock levels in collaboration with the warehouse and inventory teams.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Data Management, Business, or a related field.

Experience

1-3 years of experience in data management, sourcing, or procurement (preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry).

Familiarity with yarn sourcing or textile industry experience is a plus.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and other data management tools.

Experience with ERP systems or procurement software (e.g., SAP) is preferred.
