Job summary

Aditya Birla Insulators in Bengaluru seeks a procurement professional to oversee Vendor Payments, Imports, and Development activities within the fabric sourcing function.

You will coordinate with vendors to ensure on-time in full deliveries, manage documentation, and drive cost-effective procurement while maintaining quality standards for premium materials. The role involves interfacing with finance, logistics, and operations to streamline processes and improve supplier performance.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper documentation of all Vendor Payments.
• Update data in Cordys, PLM, SAP systems.
• Reconcile payments for top 15 vendors every 6 months and follow up on payments.
• Manage Import Logistics end to end till documents settled.
• Arrange documents for inward of bulk in factory and maintain OTIF.
• Maintain complete set of documents required for Purchase like Indent file, Approval File, Import Data and BOE etc.
• Coordinate with vendors to achieve timely delivery of yardages, and OTIF.
• Issue sampling PO to vendors within 15-days of placing indents.
• Need to travel to get new Developments.
• Coordinate with vendors/transporter/ FOB to achieve inward target and OTIF.
• Issue PO to vendors within 15-days of placing orders.

Key Result Areas (KRA)

KRA1: Vendor Payments & MIS

• Ensure proper documentation of all Vendor Payments
• Updation of complete data in systems like Cordys, PLM, SAP
• Reconciliation of 15 Top vendors every 6-months and payment follow ups of the vendors

KRA2: Imports

• Manage Import Logistics efficiently from end to end till documents are settled
• Arrange documents from vendors for inward of bulk in factory and maintaining OTIF
• Maintain complete set of documents required for Purchase like Indent file, Approval File, Import Data and BOE etc.

KRA3: Developments

• Coordinate with vendors to achieve timely delivery of yardages, and On time in full desk looms
• Issue sampling PO to vendors within 15-days of placing indents
• Need to travel to get new Developments

KRA4: Garments Sweaters Inwards

• Coordinate with vendors/transporter/ fob to achieve required inward target and OTIF
• Issue PO to vendors within 15-days of placing orders
