Job summary

techsofya is seeking a Yardi Functional Consultant to serve as a trusted advisor for global clients, providing functional support, troubleshooting, and guidance across Yardi modules. You will understand client requirements, resolve issues, and help maximize the value of their Yardi investment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of Yardi experience and strong knowledge of residential, commercial, and retail property management, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, globally distributed

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience working with Yardi applications.
• Strong understanding of Residential Property Management, Commercial Property Management and Retail Property Management.
• Experience supporting property management operations, leasing, tenant management, maintenance, and financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide functional support to Yardi clients across Residential, Commercial, and Retail property management operations.
• Analyze client issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely resolutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Understand client business processes and recommend best practices within Yardi.
• Manage support tickets through helpdesk systems and ensure SLA compliance.
• Prioritize incidents, service requests, enhancements, and change requests.
• Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership until closure.

Role Overview

As a Yardi Functional Consultant, you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, providing functional support, troubleshooting, business process guidance, and solution recommendations across various Yardi modules. You will work closely with global clients, understand their business requirements, resolve issues, and help maximize the value of their Yardi investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support to Yardi clients across Residential, Commercial, and Retail property management operations.
• Analyze client issues, troubleshoot problems, and provide timely resolutions.
• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients and maintain strong client relationships.
• Understand client business processes and recommend best practices within Yardi.
• Manage support tickets through helpdesk systems and ensure SLA compliance.
• Prioritize incidents, service requests, enhancements, and change requests.
• Perform root cause analysis and document resolutions.
• Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership until closure.

Functional Consulting

• Gather and analyze business requirements from clients.
• Configure and support Yardi modules based on business needs.
• Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements.
• Assist clients with system optimization and adoption initiatives.

User Training & Documentation

• Conduct user training sessions and knowledge-sharing workshops.
• Prepare user guides, SOPs, process documents, and solution documentation.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment activities.
• Work closely with technical consultants, project managers, and client stakeholders.
• Coordinate with global teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Participate in continuous improvement and process automation initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

Functional Expertise

• 3–5 years of experience working with Yardi applications.
• Strong understanding of:
• Residential Property Management
• Commercial Property Management
• Retail Property Management
• Experience supporting property management operations, leasing, tenant management, maintenance, and financial processes.

Support Experience

• Experience in client-facing support roles.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve functional issues independently.
• Experience working within defined SLAs and support frameworks.

Communication Skills

• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Ability to interact confidently with international clients and senior stakeholders.
• Strong presentation and documentation skills.

Technical Awareness

• Understanding of Yardi Voyager workflows and configurations.
• Familiarity with SQL, reporting tools, Power BI, or Yardi Reporting is an advantage.
• Exposure to Yardi ancillary products is desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Yardi Voyager modules.
• Exposure to Yardi Elevate, VendorCafe, CommercialCafe, ResidentialCafe, Maintenance IQ, or related products.
• Understanding of real estate accounting and property management processes.
• Experience supporting clients in North America, EMEA, or APAC regions.
