As a Workshop Manager, you are responsible for organizing, controlling and increasing the Operational efficiency of the workshop.
Responsibilities
- 1. You are responsible for the improvement of operational efficiency through establishment and religious monitoring of workshop processes.
- 2. You are responsible for development of individuals to establish an efficient, proactive high performance culture amongst after-sales staff.
- 3. You are responsible for adherence to the processes set by Mercedes-Benz for dealer operations like Digital service Drive, Xentry Portal
- 4. You are responsible for infrastructure upkeep through maintenance and calibration of tools and equipment.
- 5. You are responsible for optimum utilization of resources like bays and manpower by monitoring the efficiency.
- 6. You are responsible for monitoring and controlling service quality by identification of process flaws and for taking necessary actions.
- 7. You focus on using best business practice to improve efficiency, by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.

- You pay regular attention to the operative KPI’s. Takes necessary corrective actions to improve them.
- You possess thorough knowledge of day to day workshop operations and requirements of various facilities, tools, equipment to accomplish the workshop task/activity effectively.
- You possess thorough knowledge of agreements with vendors, contractors and their specific terms and conditions.
- You are familiar with workshop maintenance standards set by MB India.
- You possess good English language and regional language proficiency skills.
IT competence
- You have knowledge about current software applications (e.g. MS Office). You know the order system specific to your company e.g. DMS
- You have a fair knowledge on the Daimler After-Sales systems.

Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor Degree in Automotive / Mechanical Engineering.
- 8-10 years of professional experience in automotive After-Sales field.
