ASSPL - Haryana, part of Amazon, seeks a seasoned Workforce Staffing lead to pre-plan, execute, and audit New Hiring Events. You will partner with regional leaders to align labor strategy and mitigate risks through regular planning meetings.

The role requires program management experience, strong analytics, and the ability to travel for events across locations in India. You will drive KPI reporting and community sourcing efforts to meet hiring goals.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Lead pre planning, execution, and audit of New Hiring Events (NHE) to meet labor order demands.
  • Coordinate with regional leaders to align labor strategy and mitigate risks via weekly meetings.
  • Manage labor suppliers and KPIs, forecast and standard work delivery.
  • Monitor labor market health and provide insights on changes affecting the business.
  • Develop strategies to optimize candidate cycle time, conversion rates and applicant funnel metrics.
  • Engage with community groups to leverage sourcing channels and build talent communities.
  • Analyze daily, weekly, and monthly Workforce Staffing performance metrics.
  • Lead and manage projects of increasing scale and complexity to completion.
  • Set KPIs, benchmark metrics, and prioritize to meet/exceed SLAs.
  • Travel to conduct events across locations as needed.

  • Partners with business operations and finance regional leaders to align labor strategy, plans and mitigate risk due to labor fulfillment with weekly Labor Assumption and Labor Planning meetings
  • Vendor management of labor suppliers and associated KPIs, delivery of standard work and forecasting
  • Monitor labor market health and provide advanced insights into changes that will affect the business

  • Partners with Staffing Manager to support community groups to leverage grassroots sourcing channels to develop talent communities to fill positions

A day in the life

The role holder will solve complex hiring-related problems for INOPS. They will manage key program priorities for the India WFS team while collaborating closely with multiple functions. Additionally, they will be responsible for delivering hiring requirements across assigned sites. They will partner with key stakeholders including Operations, Learning, HRBPs, and external manpower agency partners to ensure successful outcomes. This role can be based in any of our field buildings in the region - Travel required

About The Team

Workforce Staffing (WFS), a division within Worldwide (WW) Ops PxT (HR), is responsible for the management of the Tier 1 talent supply chain. This encompasses market analytics, candidate attraction and communication, strategic sourcing, staffing execution at scale, and vendor management. These processes enable our business partners to meet customer demand by matching talent supply with demand.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications
  • 2+ years of in program management, workforce strategy development, or metrics-driven decision making experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in conducting investigative work, including claimant, witness, and target employee interviews, investigative data analysis, and production of investigative documentation
  • Experience developing policies and supporting documentation
  • Experience managing confidential and sensitive employee information and adherence to strict confidentiality standards
