Job summary

Hexaware Technologies is seeking an experienced Workday reporting specialist to design, develop, and optimize reports and dashboards that enable data-driven decision-making. The role requires deep knowledge of Workday reporting tools and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will work with large data sets, craft efficient SQL queries, and contribute to training initiatives to ensure adoption of solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 6+ years relevant experience with developing reports and dashboards on Workday reporting platform.

Designs, develops and maintains business intelligence reports and dashboards to support effective decision-making throughout the business.

Ensures that solutions balance technical excellence with usability and accessibility while delivering best-in-class solutions to support a broad range of customers, partners, and key stakeholders.

Works collaboratively with team members, stakeholders, and vendors to understand specifications and deliver features based on business requirements. Provides customer-focused solutions and builds and maintains effective customer relationships through timely follow-ups and efficient, effective feedback.

Enables easy adoption of reports and dashboards by assisting with training and outreach programs.

Works independently or with a team to gather and interpret report specifications and identify data requirements.

Communicates and presents problem-solving rationale within various settings and to diverse audiences.

Proficiency in Workday data solutions, such as report development, Prism, Worksheets, Studio, etc.

Experience creating and optimizing SQL queries and working with databases.

Experience with issue tracking, ticketing systems, source control, and revision systems.

Ability to understand and work with large, complex systems.

A foundational understanding of security concepts and secure code development techniques.

Experience writing test cases for new and existing code to ensure compatibility and stability.

Ability to develop positive working relationships and a strong rapport with team members.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Passionate about knowledge sharing

Ability to provide detailed information as well as summaries to peers and supervisors

A background in Workday training or certification is highly desirable, along with a deep understanding of Workday's reporting capabilities, such as using Report Writer and Composite Reporting for custom reports and analytics.

Demonstrated expertise in Workday, including comprehensive knowledge of its HCM and Financial Management modules.
