Job summary

Trimble Inc. is seeking a Workday Reporting Analyst (People Analytics) to architect and scale our Workday reporting ecosystem.

You will design, optimize, and maintain reports and dashboards, including Manager Insights Hub and Career Hub, ensuring accurate, secure, and scalable outputs for leaders worldwide. You will leverage Workday Prism Analytics, Report Writer, and BI tools to translate complex HR data into strategic insights, supporting HRIS and HCM processes with a rigorous data governance

Qualifications

• Three or more years building Workday reporting solutions.
• Proficient with Workday Prism Analytics and Report Writer.
• Experience with multi-layered data analysis and complex calculated fields.
• Strong HRIS and HCM process knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-impact Workday reports and dashboards (Advanced, Matrix, Composite).
• Create complex calculated fields translating business logic into outputs.
• Enhance Manager Insights Hub and Career Hub for stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot report performance and validate data during updates.
• Enforce data security and privacy controls for confidential data.

Key Exciting Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high-impact Workday reports and dashboards, including Advanced, Matrix, and Composite formats.
• Create and configure complex calculated fields to translate intricate business logic into reliable, scalable data outputs.
• Enhance specialized Workday tools, such as the Manager Insights Hub and Career Hub, to deliver a highly customized experience for stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot and optimize report performance, resolving data gaps and validating accuracy during system updates and data transfers.
• Apply strict security domains, data privacy controls, and sharing restrictions to safeguard confidential workforce information.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Three or more years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining complex solutions in Workday Reporting.
• Deep proficiency with Workday Prism Analytics, Report Writer, business objects, data sources, and reporting architecture.
• Proven capability creating advanced calculated fields and executing multi-layered data analysis.
• Strong foundational knowledge of HRIS and HCM business processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Analytics, or a related quantitative field.

Bonus Points For:

• Experience working directly within a specialized People Analytics or HR technology environment.
• Hands-on exposure to advanced BI and data visualization tools such as Domo or Tableau.
• Strong Excel skills, including expert-level knowledge of pivot tables and advanced lookup techniques.
