Job summary

Qualifications

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Workday Integration Engineer role based in Maharashtra, India. The Workday Integration Engineer will design, develop, test, and maintain integrations between Workday and internal or external systems, ensuring data integrity and secure information flow. Daily responsibilities include analyzing business and technical requirements, configuring and building integrations in Workday (such as EIB, Core Connectors, and Studio), and troubleshooting integration issues. The role involves collaborating with HR, finance, and IT stakeholders to understand integration needs, documenting technical specifications, and supporting deployment and post-go-live stabilization. The engineer will also monitor integration performance, apply best practices for error handling and security, and contribute to continuous improvement of the Workday integration landscape.

Qualifications

• Strong Workday integration skills, including experience with EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, and related integration frameworks.


• Proficiency in technical tools and languages commonly used with Workday integrations, such as XML, XSLT, REST/SOAP APIs, web services, and SQL.


• Solid understanding of HR and/or finance business processes and data structures to translate functional requirements into robust technical designs.


• Experience in system analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for integrations in a production environment.


• Ability to create clear technical documentation, including design specifications, mapping documents, and support guides.


• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholders.


• Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple integration projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.


• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.


• Prior experience as a Workday Integration Engineer or in a similar integration-focused role; Workday certifications are an advantage.
