Job summary

Orbion Infotech is seeking a senior Workday integration lead to architect and deliver end-to-end integrations across HCM, Financials, and EPM with external systems in a fully remote setup within India.

You will drive design, development, and governance of interfaces, mentor junior developers, and ensure secure, scalable integration patterns while enabling smooth post-go-live stability.

Qualifications

• Must have Experience with Workday Studio, EIB, REST API and SOAP API.
• Experience in integrating Workday with SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow and Okta/Azure AD SSO.
• Strong SQL/XML/JSON data handling for integrations.
• Preferred: Workday Financials integration and Workday EPM integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday integration projects from design to deployment.
• Architect secure, scalable integration patterns between Workday and external systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical integration specs with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee integration governance, CI/CD, environment sync, and regression testing.
• Coach junior integration developers and promote best practices.
• Support post-go-live stability and document future roadmaps.

About The Opportunity

A fast-paced technology consultancy delivering cloud HR and finance transformation across Fortune 500 and mid-market enterprises in India and APAC. We architect, deploy, and optimize integrated Workday ecosystems — connecting HCM, Financials, and EPM with enterprise data warehousing, IAM, and legacy ERP systems — to drive operational agility and strategic workforce insights.

Role & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end Workday integration projects — design, build, test, and deploy interfaces using Workday Studio, EIBs, and REST/SOAP APIs.
• Architect secure, scalable integration patterns between Workday and external systems (SAP, Oracle, ServiceNow, Okta, etc.) using middleware or custom orchestration.
• Translate functional requirements into technical integration specs; collaborate with solution architects and business analysts for seamless data flow.
• Manage integration governance — version control, CI/CD pipelines, environment sync, and regression testing across dev/test/prod.
• Coach junior integration developers; enforce best practices in error handling, logging, performance tuning, and security compliance.
• Support post-go-live stability — troubleshoot production issues, optimize job schedules, and document integration roadmaps for future phases.
