Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Workday Integration Developer to design, build, test and deploy Workday integration solutions within the Digital Technologies HR Applications Team in Bengaluru. You will troubleshoot integrations, collaborate with product owners and stakeholders, and translate requirements into reliable, scalable integrations across our HR landscape.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of overall experience, 3+ years in Workday integrations, and proficiency with Studio, Core Connectors,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum 5 years of overall experience and minimum 3 years as Workday Integrations Consultant/Developer.
Minimum 3 years of Workday integration skills with Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs and PECIs.
Minimum 2 years of experience with integrating applications via web service APIs - SOAP and REST.
Minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript, XSLT, JSON, and XPath programming.

Responsibilities

Design, build, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions.
Troubleshoot Workday integration issues.
Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into integration solutions.
Translate functional specifications and change requests into technical specs.
Provide guidance on integration strategies to business, IT or service partners.
Enhance user experience with Workday integration products and services.
Conduct unit and end-to-end testing of interfaces per requirements.
Coordinate with project teams through discovery and scoping phases.
Ensure timelines by coordinating deliverable schedules.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Workday releases and regression testing.
Follow change control processes for implementations.

The Workday Developer, on the Digital Technologies Human Resources (HR) Applications Team, develops and supports our Global HR Workday platform using the various Workday integration technologies. The successful candidate must have a strong knowledge of Workday's integration technologies, Workday's implementation methodology and ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless data flow and reliable automation across the HR technology landscape

As a Workday Integration Developer, you will be responsible for:

Designing, building, test, and deploy Workday integration solutions.
Troubleshoot Workday integration issues
Collaborating with Product Owners, and business stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective integration solutions within Workday.
Analyzing and translating functional specifications and change requests into technical specifications
Providing guidance to business, IT or service partners on integration strategies
Contribute to the end users’ experience with Workday’s integration products, tools, and services in a way that results in high customer satisfaction
Conducting unit and end-to-end testing of interfaces to ensure they function as designed based on functional and technical requirements
Working with project teams through integration discovery and scoping phases of their implementation projects
Coordinating for assigned deliverable schedules to ensure timelines are met
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support Workday releases and associated regression testing.
Following company defined change control processes to implement the changes and solutions

To be successful in this role you will:

Have a bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
Have a minimum 5 years of overall experience and minimum 3 years as Workday Integrations Consultant / Developer
Have a minimum 3 years of Workday integration skills with any of the following Workday setup tools: Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, and PECIs
Have a minimum 2 years of experience with integrating applications via web service APIs - SOAP and REST
Have a minimum 2 years of experience with JavaScript, XSLT, JSON, and xPath programming
