Job summary

Accion Labs is seeking a hands-on Workday Integration specialist in Mumbai to design, develop, test, and troubleshoot integrations. The role emphasizes Studio expertise, procurement integration patterns, and production support across Finance, Procurement, and HCM workflows.

The candidate should own issues end-to-end, analyze root causes, and communicate effectively with vendors and stakeholders to drive resolutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting Workday integrations.
• Hands-on Workday Studio experience preferred and demonstrable.
• Good working knowledge of Workday integration technologies including RaaS, Core Connectors, and APIs.
• Experience with PunchOut/cXML procurement integrations and related scenarios.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot Workday integrations in production.
• Provide production support for integrations, including incident handling and recovery.
• Independently analyze issues, investigate failures, and drive resolution with stakeholders.

Job description

We are looking for candidates with strong hands-on Workday Integration development as well as production support/operations experience, rather than candidates whose experience is primarily focused on Workday configuration or implementation projects.

Please consider the following areas during your initial screening:

• Hands-on Workday Integration Development: Candidate should have practical experience designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting Workday integrations.
• Workday Studio: Hands-on Studio experience is preferred and should be clearly demonstrated.
• Workday Integration Technologies: Good working knowledge of RaaS, Core Connectors, Workday Web Services/APIs, and different integration patterns.
• Procurement Integrations: Experience with Workday Procurement integrations is important, including PunchOut/cXML integrations and related scenarios.
• Production Support: Candidates should have experience supporting integrations in production, including incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, monitoring, failure recovery, and reprocessing.
• Operational Mindset: We are looking for candidates who can independently analyze issues, proactively investigate failures, communicate with stakeholders/vendors, and drive issues through resolution.
• Workday Functional Understanding: Candidate should have a good understanding of the Workday functional areas relevant to integrations, particularly Finance, Procurement, HCM, and related business processes. They should be able to understand functional requirements, Workday business processes, reports, calculated fields, security considerations, and how functional configuration impacts integrations. We are looking for candidates who can effectively bridge the gap between functional requirements and technical integration solutions, rather than having only technical integration knowledge.

Independence: Candidates should be comfortable owning integration issues end-to-end and should not be primarily dependent on functional/configuration teams for technical troubleshooting
