Tata Consultancy Services seeks an experienced Workday HCM consultant to configure and maintain Core HCM modules, drive business process configuration, and support deployments.
You will collaborate with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable Workday solutions, perform SIT/UAT testing, and ensure data governance and security standards. Experience in Agile environments is preferred.
Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM modules based on business requirements.
Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements.
Perform business process configuration and security administration.
Support Workday implementations, enhancements, and production issues.
Configure calculated fields, custom reports, dashboards, and business processes.
Work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
Perform data validation, testing (SIT/UAT), and deployment activities.
Support Workday releases by evaluating new features and implementing relevant enhancements.
Create functional documentation, user guides, and knowledge transfer documents.
Ensure compliance with HR policies, data security, and governance standards.
5+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years of hands‑on Workday HCM experience.
Strong expertise in Workday Core HCM, Business Process configuration, Security, Organizations, and Staffing.
Experience with Calculated Fields, Report Writer, and Workday integrations (EIB preferred).
Knowledge of Workday release management and tenant configuration.
Experience in data migration, testing, and production support.
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work in Agile environments.
Experience with additional Workday modules such as Compensation, Absence, Benefits, Talent, Payroll, or Recruiting.
Workday certification in HCM or related modules.
Experience with Workday Studio, Core Connectors, or PECI is an added advantage.
