Xander America Inc in Gurugram is seeking a senior Workday HCM and integration specialist to design and optimize multi-domain Workday solutions (Core HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting). You will collaborate with business partners, configure workflows, and ensure data security.

You should have 3+ years Workday HCM, familiarity with EIBs/APIs, and Extend experience. Certification preferred. Strong problem solving and agile practices required to deliver in a fast-paced banking environment.

• Solid understanding of at least three Workday modules including Core HCM, Retirement/Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Time Tracking, Talent Management. Multi-domain experience is a plus.
• Configuration developers are expected to have familiarity with EIBs and APIs.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience.
• 3+ years’ Workday HCM experience.
• Workday Pro or Workday Certifications strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of Workday custom objects, business process, core setup, and security framework.
• Understanding of Workday methodologies, feature releases, best practices.
• Strong expertise in cloud-based multi-tenant systems.
• Knowledge or experience of VNDLY is a plus
• Attention to detail and commitment to follow-through until closure.
• Understanding of Agile development processes (requirements gathering, dev intake).
• Professional maturity (proactive, facing-off with Business partners, communication, resolving blockers).
• Awareness of information and data security.

Additional responsibilities for senior and Solution Architect roles

• Review Bank’s business processes and workflows to ensure system features are being fully utilized and identify Workday features that may improve efficiency.
• Refine Bank’s roadmap and align to Workday’s product strategy for the domain
• Proactively identify and solution tech debt opportunities
• Provide guidance on best practices

Location -

Configuration roles

Strong experience in

• Configuring and troubleshooting complex Workday business processes.
• Performing Workday administrative functions including tenant configuration, data loads, integrations, and reporting.
• Providing pre and post-implementation end-user support, change management, issue resolution, testing, and training to enhance and optimize Workday processes.
• Operating in Sandbox environments and working within an established, well-controlled systems environment by defining, documenting, and enforcing system standards.
• Documenting technology specifications for current and future configuration.
• Maintaining accurate change management documentation to satisfy Bank of America’s internal/external audit controls and compliance practices.
• Act as the domain support for feature releases and issue resolution, supporting the Workday Solution Architect to define scope, prioritize, plan and implement system changes and enhancements.
• Act as support to business partners and work to enhance their understanding of Workday.
• Knowledge or experience of Workday Extend is required.

Integration roles

Strong experience in

• Evaluating business requirements and determining the appropriate solution approach using delivered Workday functionality, Extend, Orchestrate, Integrations, or a combination thereof.
• Workday Studio/Debug/API (Postman)/SSK (Minimum 4 years or 2+ implementations developing Studio integrations from scratch).
• XSLT 3.0 (streaming) - along with Oxygen or other tools ( Minimum 3 years).
• Workday Core Connectors with DIS, DT, EIB.
• Workday Reports with good understanding of data sources & business objects.
• Workday Integration Security/ Customer Central.
• Workday PICOF/PECI.
• Integration across any three Workday domains/modules.
• Deep understanding of Workday data model
• Experience in optimizing performances of Studio integrations, following workday best practices.
• Java background, Custom API handling (REST/SOAP), XML, JSON is a major plus.

Extend/Orchestrate

Strong Experience in

• Workday Extend application design, development, and deployment.
• Integration of Extend applications with Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and external systems.
• Extend application performance optimization and support.
• Workday Orchestrate workflow design and implementation.
• Event-driven and API-based orchestration using Workday and external services.
