Job summary

Sagility in Bangalore is seeking a Workday Consultant to design, build, validate, and support Workday Financials reports for finance close and management reporting. You will work with Finance and IT teams to deliver scalable Workday reporting solutions and automation.

The role requires 3+ years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience, strong knowledge of General Ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close, and a background in ERP reporting and finance transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in ERP reporting, finance systems, finance transformation, or shared services reporting.
• 3+ years of hands-on Workday Reporting experience, preferably in Workday Financials.
• Experience supporting Finance, Accounting, Controllers, or R2R teams in reporting and close-related requirements.
• CA, CPA, CMA, MBA Finance, Workday Financials, Workday Reporting, Prism, Adaptive Planning, or Office Connect exposure is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Workday custom reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions.
• Gather reporting requirements from Finance and business stakeholders and convert them into scalable Workday reporting solutions.
• Build reports for Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, Trial Balance, reconciliations, journal analysis, and management reporting.
• Develop and manage calculated fields, prompts, filters, groupings, drill-down logic, and report security.
• Validate report outputs against source financial data and support UAT, defect resolution, and production deployment.
• Support month-end close, audit requirements, reporting governance, and finance reporting automation initiatives.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Workday functional teams, and support partners on enhancements and issue resolution.
