Job summary

Nians is seeking a skilled WordPress & PHP Developer with 6 months to 1 year of experience in custom theme and plugin development, PHP back-end work, and full-stack WordPress projects.

You will create custom post types and taxonomies, build plugins, manage hosting tasks, perform performance tuning and security hardening, debug issues, and collaborate with designers to deliver responsive, high-quality sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with WordPress custom theme and plugin development.
• PHP-based back-end programming and full-stack WordPress development.
• Ability to write clean, reusable code and understand WordPress architecture.
• Experience with hosting environments (cPanel, FTP, Local dev tools).
• Strong debugging, performance tuning, and security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage custom post types, taxonomies, and ACF-based builders.
• Design and develop custom plugins or extend existing ones using action/filter hooks.
• Build reusable PHP functions and modules.
• Handle WordPress site setup, configuration, migration, and deployment.
• Perform performance tuning, security hardening, and SEO optimization.
• Debug and fix bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
• Work with third-party APIs (RESTful services, CRMs, payment gateways).
• Collaborate with designers, UI/UX teams, and project managers for responsive front-end work.
• Keep codebases versioned (Git) and up-to-date.
