Job summary

Infotanks Media is seeking a WordPress Developer with 3+ years of experience to build and customize WordPress websites using custom code. You will work on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress backend development to create responsive sites, customize themes, and ensure optimal performance.

The role involves implementing custom features, maintaining performance, and ensuring mobile-friendly, cross-browser compatibility.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with responsive design and mobile-first development.
• Understanding of Flexbox, Grid, and CSS animations.
• Ability to convert Figma/PSD designs into pixel-perfect websites.
• Experience in custom theme development.
• Knowledge of WordPress template hierarchy.
• Experience with custom post types, taxonomies, and custom fields.
• Understanding of WordPress hooks and filters.
• Experience working with page builders (Elementor, WPBakery).
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP.
• Understanding of MySQL database structure and WordPress file hierarchy.
• Ability to create or customize WordPress plugins.
• Understanding of security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites using custom themes and plugins.
• Convert UI/UX designs (Figma/PSD) into responsive WordPress websites.
• Create custom WordPress themes from scratch using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Work with WordPress hooks, filters, and template hierarchy.

• Handle backend tasks such as database queries, API integrations, and form processing.

• Troubleshoot WordPress issues, bugs, and compatibility problems.
