Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited in Chennai is seeking an engineer with 3+ years of hands-on WLAN/Linux driver development and strong C programming skills to join our engineering team. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree with programming experience in C/C++/Java/Python.
• 2+ years of Software Engineering experience with focus on driver or embedded software.
• Experience in WLAN/Linux driver development is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop WLAN/Linux drivers with strong C coding practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a high‑pressure environment.
• Implement Ethernet and wireless LAN driver components and optimizations.
• Leverage IP networking knowledge to ensure robust networking stacks.
• Contribute to RF-related discussions and learn RF aspects where applicable.

• Strong programming skills in C

• RF level knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of C/C++ language

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
