Job summary

Qualcomm India Private Limited, Chennai, is seeking a Staff Engineer to contribute to WLAN firmware architecture and design. You will work on WLAN features in firmware, participate in development, release, and maintenance, and coordinate with peer teams to define software interfaces.

The role requires 6 to 9 years of embedded software/firmware experience in networking or wireless products, strong C programming skills, and solid problem-solving and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, or
• Master's degree with 2+ years of Software Engineering experience, or
• PhD with 1+ year of Software Engineering experience. 2+ years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 6 to 9 years of experience in design and implementation of embedded software/firmware for networking/wireless products
