Job summary

Qualcomm in Chennai invites experienced embedded software engineers to contribute to WLAN firmware architecture and design for 802.11 features. You will be involved in development, release and maintenance of WLAN firmware, and work with peer teams to define software interfaces.

We expect 6 to 9 years of design and implementation experience in embedded software/firmware for networking/wireless products, with expertise in C programming and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
• 9+ years of experience in design and implementation of embedded software/firmware for networking/wireless products
