Job summary

Qualcomm is seeking a software engineer with 3+ years of experience in C/C++ and Linux shell scripting. The role emphasizes expertise in the RDK framework (CCSP/HAL) and Wireless technologies (Wi‑Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.11ax, 802.11be). Candidates should understand WPA2/WPA3/802.1X security, and have exposure to Multi‑AP EasyMesh ecosystems.

Strong knowledge of TCP/UDP/VLAN/NAT/firewall and Linux-based network programming is required. Experience with Qualcomm SDK is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering or related work experience.
• PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

Job description

General Summary

• 3+ years of software development experience
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming and well-versed in Linux shell scripting
• Strong development experience in RDK framework with CCSP/HAL
• Strong understanding of Wireless Technology: Wi‑Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, 802.11ax, 802.11be
• Knowledge of Security Requirements: WPA2, 802.11i, 802.1X, WPA3, Enterprise
• Experience in Multi‑AP EasyMesh technologies, Airties, plume, is a plus
• Strong background in networking protocols including TCP, UDP, VLAN, NAT, firewall
• Solid understanding of network programming on Linux platforms
• Experience with Qualcomm SDK is a plus
