Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) invites applications for a Windows Environment Administrator to manage BAU tasks including incident management, work orders, and change requests. You will troubleshoot access issues, OS problems, performance concerns, and coordinate with hardware vendors for timely resolution.

Role requires hands-on SCCM patching, firmware upgrades for physical servers, VMware ESXi/vCenter patching, SQL clustering configuration, and Windows build/recovery expertise.

Qualifications

• Experience in Windows environment administration and incident handling.
• Knowledge of access control, user profiles, and performance issues.
• Experience coordinating with hardware vendors for server issues.
• Familiarity with SCCM patching and firmware upgrades.
• VMware ESXi/vCenter patching expertise.
• SQL cluster configuration and troubleshooting.
• Windows OS build and recovery knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of SCOM is a plus.
• DFS share and print server management knowledge.
• CA certificate management in Windows servers.

Responsibilities

• Handle BAU tasks for Windows Environment including Incident, Work Order and Change Requests.
• Troubleshoot access, OS, share permissions, user profiles and performance issues.
• Coordinate with hardware vendors (HPE, VMware, MS) to resolve hardware/OS problems.
• Perform SCCM patching and firmware upgrades on physical servers.
• Patch VMware ESXi and vCenter as required.
• Configure and troubleshoot SQL clusters.
• Maintain Windows OS build and recovery procedures.
• Value added: basic SCOM knowledge is a plus.
• Manage DFS shares and print servers.
• Oversee CA certificates in Windows servers.

Role & responsibilities

• 1 To work on the BAU(Incident, Work order and change request) related to Windows Environment
• 2 Troubleshoot the access related issues, OS ,Share permission, User profile and Performance issues
• 3 To work with hardware vendor (HPE, Vmware and MS) to fix the hardware and OS related issues.
• 4 Have to do the SCCM patching. Upgrade the Firmware for physical servers.
• 5 Have to do the Vmware (Esxi and Vcenter patching)
• 6.SQL cluster configuration and trouble shooting
• 7.Windows OS Build and revcery knowledge and deep knowledge in Windows server support
• 8.Basic knowledge of SCOM will be consider as added advantage
