Job summary

LTM Limited in Coimbatore is seeking a Windows Server Administrator to install, configure, maintain, and support Windows-based systems and servers. You will handle AD, GPOs, MS 365, and VMware ESXi environments, while coordinating with vendors for hardware and software support.

The role emphasizes managing user accounts, security policies, and proactive health checks, with a focus on reliable uptime and scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of installing, configuring, tuning, maintaining, and monitoring Windows Servers.
• Experience managing AD, GPOs, and user accounts across large Windows environments.
• Familiarity with Office 365 infrastructure and Microsoft 365 admin tasks.
• Experience with VMware infrastructure and backup/recovery tooling.

Responsibilities

• Install, manage, and upgrade Windows-based systems and servers.
• Monitor server-related thresholds and take action to resolve issues.

• Perform regular system maintenance and hardware/software upgrades.

• Experience with Office 365 infrastructure configuration, policy creation, and meeting customer requirements.
• Manage new-hire account creation, terminations, privileges, and other user account modifications.
• Troubleshoot server hardware issues (boot problems, blue screens, RAID controller issues).
• Identify performance problems and determine root causes related to hardware resources.
• Experience and understanding of Microsoft Azure is advantageous.
• Collaborate across IT functions and teams to deliver complete technical solutions.

• Install, configure, and manage VMware infrastructure (ESXi hosts).
• Provide proactive, high-response handling for VMware-related critical and high-vulnerability issues.
• Define and configure multiple virtual servers on a single host, and create/configure clusters.
• Check the health of all hosts and VM objects in vCenter.
• Plan and implement ESXi host and vCenter patching and upgrades.
• Monitor active alarms from VMware and respond to resolve issues.
• Design, build, test, implement, maintain, and optimize the virtual infrastructure.
• Support snapshots, backups (Veeam), and related requests.
• Perform disk expansion, VM creation, migrations, and vMotion to optimize host utilization.
• Monitor and manage SSO certificates and renewals.
