Job summary

Unipart Pune (Baner) Hybrid role for an EUC & Windows Architect/Engineer. You will design EUC & Windows architecture, ensure stable, secure operation, and lead end-user service delivery, collaborating with the Non-People Enterprise Applications team.

The role requires 5+ years of Windows server admin, 2+ years in AWS/Azure, AD, scripting (PowerShell/Python) and cloud security. You will mentor team members, optimize Windows/Cloud solutions, and align work with business priorities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience system administration of Windows server/hosting environment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with administering AWS and/or Azure cloud environment (Compute, Storage configuration, Networking & security etc.).
• AWS Windows engineer with a mind for security; cloud-native solutioning, Citrix and Appstream skills are a plus; Linux experience beneficial.
• Minimum of 5 years experience administering and supporting Active Directory systems, user access rights, Group Policy and security.
• Experience troubleshooting complex business systems; migrating systems between on premises, hosted data centre and cloud.
• Experience with Microsoft Server, AWS Cloud virtualization, IP networks, routing, storage, backups, firewalls and IT security systems.
• Experience writing scripts (PowerShell, Python) and supporting application/database servers; familiar with hosting monitoring and ITIL practices.

• Help team managers complete the resource plan and map against demand and priorities.
• Build and share the pipeline of work aligned to strategic priorities.
• Provide technical leadership to Windows/EUC team; optimize Windows solutions and recommend improvements.

About the Role:

Role Purpose: This role will be a member of the team that is responsible for the design of the EUC & Windows architecture as well as ensure the delivery of a stable and secure operation for the organization. This individual will have solid technical infrastructure experience, project management knowledge, plus a service-oriented approach to infrastructure operations. They will carry out end-user customer service activities to resolve hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion. Put the customer at the heart of every decision.

Essential:

• Minimum of 5 years experience system administration of Windows server/hosting environment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience with administering AWS and/or Azure cloud environment (Compute, Storage configuration, Networking & security etc.)
• AWS Windows engineer, with a mind for security and ability to work within the cloud environments; additional bonus for cloud-native solutioning, Citrix and Appstream builds. Linux experience would be a big bonus too.
• Minimum of 5 years experience of administering and supporting Microsoft Active Directory systems, user access rights, Group Policy and security.
• Experience troubleshooting issues with complex business systems.
• Experience of migrating systems, data and services between on premise, hosted data centre and the cloud environments.
• Detailed experience of Microsoft Server, AWS Cloud Virtualization technologies, IP networks, IP routing, storage technologies, backup systems, firewalls and IT security systems.
• Experience writing scripts (PowerShell, Python)
• Experience with supporting application and database servers
• Experience working with hosting monitoring systems or equivalent experience
• Experience working with ITIL framework and other industry best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills. Can show a methodological approach to solving issues under pressure.
